Shopping words help you find what you want, ask prices, and make purchases.

Types of stores (商店类型):

• department store: many different sections (clothes, electronics, home goods)
• supermarket: food and household items
• grocery store: smaller food store
• convenience store: open late, sells snacks, drinks, basics
• bookstore: sells books, magazines, stationery
• pharmacy / drugstore: medicine, toiletries, sometimes snacks
• bakery: bread, cakes, pastries
• butcher: sells meat
• shopping mall / shopping center: many stores together under one roof

Sections in department store (商场楼层):

• ground floor / first floor: cosmetics, accessories
• men's wear: men's clothing
• women's wear: women's clothing
• children's wear: kids' clothes
• home goods / homeware: furniture, kitchen things
• electronics: phones, TVs, computers
• sports: sportswear and equipment

Shopping words (购物词汇):

• price tag: paper with price on it
• sale: special lower prices
• discount: percentage off (20% off = pay 80%)
• on sale: being sold at lower price
• fitting room / changing room: place to try clothes on
• size: S/M/L/XL/XXL (small, medium, large, extra large)
• cash: paper money and coins
• credit card / debit card: plastic card to pay electronically
• cashier: person who takes your money
• receipt: paper showing what you bought and price
• return: bring back item you don't want
• exchange: swap item for different size/color

Shopping phrases (购物常用句):

• "How much is this?"
• "Do you have this in medium/large/small?"
• "Where are the fitting rooms?"
• "Can I pay by credit card?"
• "I'd like to return/exchange this."
• "Do you have this in another color?"
