姜饼人出炉了

An old woman makes a gingerbread man. 一位老奶奶做了一个姜饼人。gingerbread 姜饼；man 人形。She puts him in the oven. 她把他放进烤炉。oven 烤炉。Ding! The gingerbread man jumps out and runs away! 叮！姜饼人跳出来逃跑了！

跑啊，跑啊

The old woman and the old man run after him. 老奶奶和老爷爷在后面追。run after 追赶。姜饼人一边跑一边唱：

• Run, run, as fast as you can! 跑啊跑，用你最快的速度跑！
• You can not catch me, I am the gingerbread man! 你们抓不到我，我是姜饼人！

as fast as you can 是「尽你所能地快」；catch 抓住。

一路上，a cow（奶牛）、a horse（马）都来追他，可谁也追不上。

聪明的狐狸

The gingerbread man comes to a river. 姜饼人来到一条河边。A fox says: I can help you. Sit on my nose. 狐狸说：我能帮你，坐到我的鼻子上。The fox eats him up! 狐狸一口把他吃掉了！eat up 吃光。

不能随便相信陌生人的话，哪怕他说要帮你。

常见误区

• can not 和 cannot 写法不同，意思一样，都是「不能」。
• catch 的过去式是 caught，读故事时见到别不认识。
