三只小猪 Three little pigs

The Three Little Pigs is a classic fable about three pig brothers who each build houses to protect themselves from the Big Bad Wolf. The story teaches about the importance of hard work, planning, and preparation.

The Story:

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who left their mother's house to build homes of their own. Each pig had different ideas about how to build a house.

The first little pig was very lazy. He didn't want to work at all. "Building houses is too much trouble! I'll build something quick and easy," he thought. So he built his house out of straw. It took him only one afternoon. Then he danced and played for the rest of the day.

The second little pig worked a little bit harder, but he was also lazy. He decided to build his house out of sticks. "Sticks are stronger than straw, but still easy to carry," he thought. He finished his stick house in two days, and then joined his brother playing games.

The third little pig was hard-working and wise. He decided to build his house out of solid bricks. "Bricks are heavy, and this will take time, but brick houses are the strongest," he thought. It took him all week to lay each brick carefully and properly. His brothers laughed at him. "Why work so hard?" they said. "We play every day while you build!"

One night, the Big Bad Wolf came walking through the forest. He smelled pigs and became very hungry. He saw the first little pig in his straw house.

The Wolf knocked on the door and said: "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!"

The first little pig answered from inside: "No! No! No! Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin!"

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" said the Wolf.

So he huffed... and he puffed... and he blew the straw house completely away! The first little pig ran as fast as he could to his brother's stick house.

The Wolf followed him to the second little pig's stick house. He knocked and said: "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!"

Together, the two pigs answered: "No! No! No! Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chins!"

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" said the Wolf.

So he huffed... and he puffed... and he puffed harder... and he blew down the stick house! The two little pigs barely escaped with their lives, and they ran to their brother's brick house as fast as they could go!

The Wolf followed them to the third little pig's strong brick house. Again he knocked: "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!"

All three pigs answered together: "No! No! No! Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chins!"

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!" roared the Wolf.

The Wolf huffed... and puffed... and huffed... and puffed... and huffed until he was so out of breath he thought he would burst! But the strong brick house would not blow down no matter how hard he tried. The brick house stood firm.

The Wolf got very angry! He had a clever (but stupid) idea. He climbed onto the roof of the brick house and shouted: "Little pigs! I'm coming down your chimney to eat you all!"

The three quick-thinking pigs put a big pot of boiling water on the fireplace. The Wolf came sliding down the chimney... SPLASH! He landed right in the boiling water! The pigs quickly put the lid on the pot and that was the end of the Big Bad Wolf!

The lazy first pig and the second pig learned their lesson about hard work. They never made fun of their hard-working brother again! They all lived together safely in the strong brick house and were never bothered by wolves ever again.
