实战一：Part 4 完形填空

My Weekend Job

Every Saturday I work at a café in town. I (1)____ up at seven and cycle there. My job is to (2)____ the tables and bring people their drinks. Most customers are very (3)____ , but sometimes people get angry if they have to wait. My boss says the most important thing is to (4)____ friendly, even when you are tired. I earn £30 a day, and I'm (5)____ money for a new bike. I like the job because I've (6)____ a lot of new people.

答案与解析：

1. A get——get up 起床，固定短语。
2. A clean——clean the tables 擦桌子。wash 是洗（用水），do the tables 不成立。
3. A kind——be 动词后面用形容词。kindly 是副词，kindness 是名词。
4. A be——to 后面跟动词原形（这里是 to be friendly）。
5. B saving——save money 攒钱。spend 是花，pay 是付款。上文说 earn（挣），下文说买新自行车，所以是攒钱。
6. B met——meet new people 认识新朋友。know 是「已经认识」，see 是看见。

总结这六题考了什么：短语（1、2、5、6）、词性（3、4）。没有一题考「这个词什么意思」，全在考「这个位置该用什么形式、什么搭配」。

实战二：Part 5 开放填空

A Trip to the Mountains

Last month my family and I went (1)____ a trip to the mountains. We left home (2)____ six in the morning because the journey took four hours. (3)____ was raining when we arrived, so we stayed in the hotel and played cards. The next day the weather was much better (4)____ the first day. We walked to the top of the mountain, (5)____ took us three hours. It was (6)____ hardest walk I have ever done, but the view was wonderful.

答案与思路：

1. on——go on a trip 固定搭配（去旅行）。
2. at——具体时刻用 at（at six）。
3. It——讲天气用 it 作主语。
4. than——前面有比较级 better，后面必接 than。
5. which——引导定语从句指代前面整件事（初学也可接受 and it）。
6. the——最高级 hardest 前面必须加 the。

注意第 4 题和第 6 题：这两题是「信号词直接决定答案」的典型——看到比较级就想 than，看到最高级就想 the，不需要理解句意。
