Part 2：观点与目的题 · PET 专项突破

题型：6 段独立的短独白或对话（每段约 30 秒），每段一道三选一。

这一部分几乎全在考「说话人的观点、感受、意图」，是 PET 听力最能体现 B1 要求的部分。

题干的四种问法

问法	要抓什么
What does the woman think about...?	评价性的词
How does the man feel about...?	情绪词
Why is she calling / speaking?	目的（往往在开头或结尾）
What does he suggest / advise?	建议句型

「Why is she calling?」这类目的题是重点：答案通常在第一句或最后一句，中间是铺垫。

打法：三步

第一步（录音前）：读题干，明确「要听观点还是听目的」。

这一步决定你听的时候注意力放哪。听观点就抓形容词和评价，听目的就抓开头结尾的动作句。

第二步：抓「但是」。

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were friendly. However, the rooms were tiny and the walls were so thin that I couldn't sleep.

问 What did she think of the hotel? 答案是负面的，不是「位置好」。

英语表达习惯：先说客气话，but 之后才是真心话。 这一条在 PET 听力里几乎百试百灵。

第三步：排除「原词陷阱」。

三个选项里，往往有一个照抄了录音里的词，但意思是被否定的那部分。

录音：I thought it would be expensive, but actually it was quite reasonable.
陷阱选项：It was expensive.✗
正确选项：It cost less than she expected.✓

建议类表达（suggest/advise 题必备）

建议句型	例

I was wondering if... 和 Could you possibly... 是英语里最礼貌的请求方式，听力里出现频率很高。

实战演示

录音：Hi, it's Mark. I'm calling about Saturday's rehearsal. I know we agreed on two o'clock, but the hall is being used for a wedding until four. I've checked and we can have it from four thirty. Sorry about the change — hope that still works for you.

题：Why is Mark calling?
A To cancel the rehearsal.
B To change the time of the rehearsal.
C To ask for a different room.

答案：B。A 错（没取消，只是改时间）；C 错（他没要换房间，是房间被占用）。目的句在开头 I'm calling about 和中间 we can have it from four thirty。
